O2Micro Granted Patent and Continuation for Level Shifting Amplifier Invention
September 27, 2005. O2Micro® International Limited (Nasdaq: OIIM), a leading supplier of innovative power management and
security components and systems for the Computer, Consumer, Industrial, and Communications markets, was granted 28 claims under United States patent number 6,924,667 and 17 claims under United States patent number 6,930,515 for the continuation of its Level Shifting Amplifier Circuits.
This patented invention is designed to detect small changes in power levels of a broad range of mobile products. Circuits employing this invention can make better power management decisions when signals might be masked by noise near the ground or power rail. This invention helps in extending
battery life of mobile products.
