O2Micro Settles ITC Case with BenQ and LG
September 17, 2009. O2Micro® International Limited (NASDAQ®: OIIM), today announced that it has settled a dispute before the U.S. International Trade Commission (𨧻TC�) relating to BenQ Corporation, BenQ America Corporation, LG Electronics Inc. and LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc.
LG Electronics and BenQ now license certain O2Micro patents relating to inverter technology.
The ITC investigation, No. 337-TA-666, is entitled Certain Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp Inverter Circuits and Products Containing Same.
