Battery Charging Patent Issued to O2Micro

July 9, 2007. O2Micro® International Limited (NASDAQ®: OIIM; SEHK: 0457), a leading supplier of innovative power management and security components and systems, was issued 16 claims under United States patent number 7,202,634 for its high accuracy Voltage Mode Battery Charging invention; a continuation of the invention issued March 2005 under United States patent number 6,861,823.

Dr. Alex Hartular, vice president, O2Micro, stated "Continuation of this key patent allows O2Micro to develop next generation power management solutions by adding the adapter power in the battery charger control loop. This new feature will enhance our Charger product family."
