U.S. Patent Issued for O2Micro's Power Converter Controller

GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman, February 10, 2014. O2Micro® International Limited (NASDAQ Global Select Market: OIIM), a global leader in the design, development and marketing of high-performance integrated circuits and solutions, announced that its Power Converter Controller invention received 20 claims under U.S. patent number 8,587,276.

This patented DC/DC controller manages the output signal of the power converter, using analog signal processing, to respond to output signals quickly while suppressing noise, unlike conventional designs. This ensures the stability of the output signal.

"The power converter's amplification circuitry results in a more accurate and stable output voltage," said Laszlo Lipcsei, vice president, O2Micro.
