O2Micro Granted Patent for Signal Detection Invention

May 16, 2012. O2Micro® International Limited (NASDAQ: OIIM) was issued 13 claims under United States patent number 8,138,808 for its Signal Detection Circuitry.

This invention is designed to detect an imbalance among multiple signals. An alert signal is generated if the delta is greater than a predetermined threshold.

Max Huang, executive vice president, O2Micro, said "O2Micro's patented signal detection circuitry is cost effective, saves board space, and easy to implement."
