O2Micro Issued Patent for Inverter Driving Circuits and Techniques

O2Micro® International Limited (NASDAQ®: OIIM; SEHK: 0457), a leading supplier of innovative power management and security components and systems, was issued 3 claims under United States patent number 7,151,394 for its Phase Shifting and PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) Driving circuits and methods.
This patented invention utilizes a phase shift technique to generate a plurality of switching drive signals for a DC/AC or DC/DC conversion application used in Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) applications that include notebook computers, Liquid Crystal Display Monitors (LCDM), LCD TVs, GPS' and PDAs (Personal Digital Assistant).
